Doug is Co-Founder and CEO of Method AI. Before joining Method AI, Doug served as COO of Corindus where he was responsible for establishing and implementing the company’s technology strategy. In 2018, his team achieved the world’s first remote robotic interventional heart procedure – completed by an offsite physician located more than 20 miles from the patient. They followed that achievement with the first in-human robotic neurovascular intervention in 2019. The work of Doug and his team was featured in the 2020 documentary, Speed of Thought, a film following the first wave of 5G innovators. These achievements led to a $1.1 billion strategic acquisition by Siemens Healthineers. Prior to joining Corindus, Doug served as Vice President in Boston Scientific’s global Clinical organization. During his tenure at Boston Scientific, Doug accelerated the development and approval pathway for dozens of PMA products. Doug brings over 20 years of medical device experience to Method AI. In addition, he previously served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
